My dear Walter,

This is the last post-card to you for this year. Thanks very much for your nice letter which I got this morning and the postcard to Mr. + Mrs. Cox. We are still in S. and we intend to go back to “Burleigh” on Monday. We were sitting by the fire when your post-card came and I had to read and to translate your news and they are all looking forward to your visit.

We have been discussing which room you will have etc. I cannot believe it that you really are coming. Ena was going to write to you after New Years Day to invite you for your Easter holidays. Please let me know by return 1.) whether it is quite sure that you’ll come 2.) what day (as soon as possible – we like you to stay as long as you can) 3.) which way (the best is Paris – Le Havre – Southampton – I was told). Schreib bitte sofort weil Betty noch nichts weiß und ich mit ihr über ihr Kommen korrespondiere.
