My dear boy!

I arrived safely to-day at “Burleigh”. I am only writing a post-card. You shall soon get a letter from me. Thanks ever so much for your letter and the snap which I like very much. I am very sorry that your Silentium did not get on as well as we all thought. I hope it will soon become better. The last days in London were very nice and the 2 German boys and I saw a lot of interesting things, even a “Non-stop variety”.

I hope your mother is feeling quite better now. My parents seem to enjoy their stay at Harsleben. I think they need a good holiday. Hans has not answered yet, I do not understand him at all. I am glad to hear that you enjoy your mathematic studies. I hope I shall soon have time to write a letter. Please do write soon.

Yours, as ever, Anneliese.
